The ERROR is 0x208: SDKSEREVICENOTFOUND service doesnt exist, what service is expected Could anyone show a screeenshot with TB3 enable in device manager pls.help thanks.Under System Devices Also, AFAIK, the TB3 controller itself is responsible for regular USB-C functionality on those two ports (though not USB-C PD charging that is handled by a seperate PMIC).
So if the USB-C ports work with a flash drive, for instance, then the TB3 controller is working at some level. Charging is handled seperately (even though they are using the same ports), and I dont remember what the TB3 controllers exact relationship with USB-C DP Alt Mode was, so I dont dare comment on that. EDIT: for clarity, I should note I have the charger plugged in right now, along with an USB-C -- DP cable, driving an external monitor. When I briefly unplugged both devices, the TB3 controller seemed to still be present in the device manager, though I cannot guarentee thats an accurate assessment. That would be a successfully installed TB3 as result in Device manager I am aiming for Currently I am using a USB-C hub with Gbit Ethernet USB3PD-USB-C, plugging into the USB-CTB3 port, but still TB3 is not showing up. On the other side, I also notice you have System Interface Foundation V2 device successfully installed, which is pre-requested for ThinkVanatage to function, but I dont know those 2 are related. Anyways I still need to further investigate why my TB3 not show-up, hopefully a Lenovo expert could share insights here. My X1C6 does not show the following in device manager under system devices. Thunderbolt Service Dell Software Package Windows 10 1709 OrEnabled (as shown in the screenshot) is not compatible with Windows 10 1709 or later. This is why the Thunderbolt device does not appear in Device Manager. Thunderbolt Service Dell Software Package Software And TheFirst I need to uninstall thunderbolt 3 software and the foundation driver, but for this you must disable in BIOS thunderbolt, otherwise you cannot uninstall TB3 etc. ![]()
